Despite a relatively muted debut, Isaac Clarke of Dead Space has got around quite a bit. And we’re not just talking about the recent Dead Space remake. Mr. Clarke has done the rounds not only in his own series, nor just in other titles published by Electronic Arts (EA). He’s appeared in numerous games from a variety of different developers. Chit Hot has dug in deep to compile every single one. How many have you played?

Dead Space originally made it’s debut in 2008 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game was well received by critics, but didn’t set the sales charts on fire. A couple of spin-offs followed, and a sequel promptly arrived in 2011. In his second mainline outing Isaac Clarke was a more well rounded character. For better and worse. The once mute protagonist was now full of angst and aggression. And then, in Dead Space 3, he was full-blown annoying. Oh well, can’t have everything, can we?

What we do get however, is a series of cameos in other games that range from charming to hilarious. Isaac gets his downtime skating and playing basketball. And beating PlayStation mascots to a pulp. Read on to find out all the games Isaac Clarke has appeared in outside of Dead Space!

Every Dead Space’s Isaac Clarke Cameo

Dead Space is an IP wholly owned by EA, and so it’s no surprise that Isaac Clarke has made appearances in numerous other games from the publisher. While it may seem a bit of a stretch of the imagination, Clarke appeared in numerous sports titles. NBA JamTiger Woods PGA Tour 10, and Skate 3 all saw Clarke getting a new lease on life. This is reportedly mostly thanks to the fact that all of these games were built using the same engine, and as such importing Clarke’s model was a simple process.

He also appeared in a few other EA titles in various forms. The 2010 game Dante’s Inferno featured an Isaac Clarke skin. BioWare’s Dragon Age II famously offered a Dead Space 2-inspired suit of armour. While the Army of Two series gave us two gems: the PSP version of Army of Two: The 40th Day and the sequel, Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel both featured cosmetic items representing the character.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale - Isaac Clarke

LittleBig Isaac

Moving away from EA games, we head into even stranger territory. Three LittleBigPlanet titles paid homage to the hero. LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet 3 and LittleBigPlanet Karting all offered a skin based on Isaac Clarke. But there’s still more from the house of PlayStation. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale featured Isaac Clarke in a big way, with references to all three mainline Dead Space games.

While most of his cameos have been as skins or cosmetic items referencing his armour, Clarke was a fully playable character in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. This includes his own unique set of attacks and abilities. Isaac Clarke even got his own voice-acted lines of dialogue and additional costumes based on the three mainline Dead Space games.

Isaac Clarke Gets Around

Believe it or not, we’re not done yet! A couple more skins to add to the list: both Minecraft and Fortnite featured Clarke ahead of his Dead Space remake release. However, we’ve save the best for last.

Returning to the EA stable for one last banger, Clarke appeared in both MySims Agents and MySims SkyHeroes as a playable character. We’re not entirely sure why, given the obvious target audience for these games. But hey, when Dead Space itself didn’t hit the sales numbers EA was hoping for, why not try to draw the fans in elsewhere?
