Today sees Focus Entertainment and DON’T NOD launch their story-driven action RPG Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Available for PC and consoles in standard and special editions, Banishers drops players into a fantasy world full of occult dangers.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden offers an emotionally charged journey in a world plagued with supernatural creatures and age-old secrets.
“New Eden, 1695: Antea and Red are lovers and Banishers, trained spirit-hunters, protecting people from lingering spectres,” the synopsis explains. “In a world full of occult danger, play as both characters, face difficult choices and make hard decisions while fighting all kinds of nightmarish creatures, combining Red’s weaponry with Antea’s spectral abilities.”

Stepping into the shoes of Antea and Red, you can utilise Antea’s spiritual abilities and Red’s formidable arsenal to banish the tormented souls that haunt the living. But important decisions have to be made along the way, do you blame the living and sacrifice their lives, banish the souls of the departed or help souls ascend?
To do all of this you’ll need to unleash and upgrade a formidable array of weaponry and supernatural abilities. Locate ancient artefacts, trinkets and valuable resources to enhance your equipment and upgrade Antea’s skill tree to expand her powers.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Epic Games Store. There are also two special editions available directly from the Focus Entertainment Store: the Red Echoes Edition and the Collector’s Edition.
