Guide for How to Romance Tifa in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
In order to achieve that Gold Saucer date with Tifa, you need to have her as your highest level relationship during Chapter 8: All That Glitters and Chapter 12: A Golden Key. This results in your first date with her, and then the second concluding a successful romance.
There are a number of ways you can raise your relationship level with Tifa in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. During our time with the game we found the following most influential:
- Choosing the correct dialogue options.
- Unlocking all of the Synergy Abilities and Skills between Cloud and Tifa.
- Picking Tifa, and matching Cloud’s swimwear style with Tifa’s in Chapter 6: Fool’s Paradise, at Costa del Sol.
- Completing all of Tifa’s side quests.
It’s also important to ensure that other characters don’t have their relationship level raised too much before Chapter 12. Doing so may result on you taking a different character on said dates. To be safe, simply don’t complete side quests with other characters until later in the game.

Prior to Chapter 12, there are six conversations that will contribute to your relationship level with Tifa. There are multiple options that can help with this, but below you’ll find the best option for each dialogue choice.

During Chapter 2: A New Journey Begins, you’ll encounter your first Tifa romance dialogue choice. After you speak with Red XIII and get a relationship explainer, Tifa asks if the tank above reminds you of anything. The best Tifa dialogue choice in Kalm is: ‘The place I made that promise to you‘.
Tifa Romance Dialogue Choice in Junon
In the Inn at Under Junon in Chapter 4: Dawn of a New Era, after you defeat the Terror of the Deep boss, Tifa asks if you remember a guy called Emilio. The best Tifa dialogue choice in Junon is: ‘Only person from the village I remember is you‘.
Tifa Romance Dialogue Choice in Costa del Sol
At the start of Chapter 7: Those Left Behind, after the Gastropod fight, speak with Tifa at the bar. The best Tifa dialogue choice in Costa del Sol is: ‘Lot’s happened since then‘.

In Nibelheim during Chapter 11: The Long Shadow of Shinra, go upstairs in the Lockhart Residence. She’ll say her life with Avalanche was taking a toll on her. The best Tifa dialogue choice in Nibelheim is: ‘Have I helped you get through it at all?‘.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Tifa Swimsuit Choice
During Chapter 6: Fool’s Paradise in Costa del Sol, you’ll take part in a variety of minigames. Here you can earn special currency to buy different swimwear outfits. You can buy options for Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith. However, in order to successfully romance Tifa, you should match her outfit with Cloud.
