Due out next month is Sand Land, the highly anticipated videogame adaption of Akira Toriyama’s anime world. As you might expect from the title, the majority of the game comprises scorching desert sun and rolling dunes. However, not all of it. This week Bandai Namco unveiled the lush Forest Land territory for Sand Land.
In Sand Land, you play Beelzebub, the Fiend Prince. Accompanied by his chaperone, Thief, and Sheriff Rao, you get to explore a vast desert and take on the Royal Army. But there’s also Forest Land to venture into. While it may look peaceful, this area is governed by a ferocious army led by Muniel, a fearsome general.
He plans on saving his land by getting his hands on a supply of Aquanium, a powerful but dangerous resource. So Beelzebub and his friends will have to do battle against each of the Forest Land’s army generals to ensure that doesn’t happen.
Sand Land Gameplay
In the world of Sand Land, both humans and demons suffer from an extreme water shortage. Beelzebub and his unlikely team are on a mission to find the Legendary Spring capable of ending the terrible drought that has taken over the world.
Players will have to fight off the Royal Army, bandits, fierce wildlife and more. To help in this endeavour, Sand Land features customisable vehicles, with a huge range of options to choose from. Develop Battle Tanks with powerful cannons for that edge in battle or motorbikes to help speed through the deserts.
Sand Land will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC on 26th April 2024. It’s available in three separate editions which can be pre-ordered now, Standard, Deluxe Edition and Collector’s Edition. Pre-ordering any of them will get you the Survivalist Camo Pack.
