Last month Ziggurat Interactive brought its 2.5D hack-and-slash title Slave Zero X to PC and most consoles. Apart from one that is. Now the publisher has confirmed an April launch date for Slave Zero X on Nintendo Switch.
Switch players don’t have long to wait to take up bloody arms as protagonist, Shou. In pursuit of killing a false God, the violent and tyrannical dictator Sovereign Khan, Shou, steals a Slave Unit Prototype. Thus becoming a furious red devil, who can use swift swordplay, explosive ordnance, and stylish combos to rid Megacity S1-9 of its dictator.
The action-packed game features an abundance of moves, air-juggling enemies, dashing through crowds and wall-jumping galore. Allowing you to take down foes of any size. Use the Training Room to practice your moves and string together devastating attack sequences. All to a 90s-inspired soundtrack featuring heavy Drum’n’Bass and funky industrial music.
Slave Zero X on Nintendo Switch
In addition to the Nintendo Switch announcement, Ziggurat has revealed some free post-game content. After beating the Crimson Citadel game mode, players can face SovKhan in his true ultimate form, SovKhan 300. This will be available for all supported platforms from 11th April.
Furthermore, a new language patch adding Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Thai will arrive the same day.
Slave Zero X for Nintendo Switch will be available in Standard and Deluxe editions digitally worldwide from 11th April. A physical edition will be available that same day in Asia and Japan. Europe and the Americas will see the physical version arrive on 17th May.
You can already Slave Zero X on Steam, GOG, PlayStation 4|5, and Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
