The popular post-apocalyptic city building simulation, Endzone: A World Apart, is set to receive a new edition. Endzone: A World Apart – Survivor Edition has been announced for release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This new addition will include the forthcoming DLC expansion, Prosperity.
In 2021, a group of terrorists blew up nuclear power plants around the world and plunged the world into chaos. Only few were able to escape into underground facilities called “Endzones”. 150 years later, mankind returns to the surface. In an extremely hostile environment full of radioactivity, contaminated rain and extreme climate change, you’ll have to prove your worth as a leader.
The game pits players against an unforgiving wasteland ripe with all manner of danger and horrors. Many of which mirror our own real-life global dilemmas: cataclysmic weather events, radiation poisoning, and rapidly disappearing clean water. Players are tasked with the ultimate responsibility: rehabilitate, restructure, and protect the last human beings on Earth.
After a successful release in Early Access back in 2020, Endzone: A World Apart launched on PC last year. Now, Endzone: A World Apart – Survivor Edition tasks console players with the monumental responsibility of building a civilization to maintain the wellbeing of Earth’s last remaining human colony. Players will use the tools at their disposal to build housing structures, develop a functioning electrical system, and maintain stable water and food supplies: just a few of the valuable resources required to support a thriving society.
Unlike similar titles in the genre, Endzone: A World Apart won’t see players face off against ghastly ghouls and irradiated monstrosities. Instead, violent weather events, such as sandstorms and drought, are the violent forces that seek to destroy the colony.
Endzone: A World Apart – Survivor Edition will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on 19th May, 2022. A trailer detailing the game experience can be seen below.
