Texelworks’ 41 Hours has grabbed some attention since it’s console debut earlier this year. Published by eastasiasoft, the game launched for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Now, GS2 Games has announced a forthcoming 41 Hours retail release. However, this new edition will be available exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
In 41 Hours, players take the role of Ethan. A workaholic scientist and capable field combatant, Ethan is in search of his long-lost wife. The game promises a ‘cinematic first-person adventure driven by intense shootouts’, in a world devastated by advanced, often alien technology. What’s more, Ethan is accompanied by a mysterious woman that seems to possess super-human powers. Use conventional armaments while also learning to manipulate time and cloak for enhanced stealth. Use portals for teleportation, and employ telekinetic abilities against the paramilitary forces that stand in your way.
41 Hours Retail Release Trailer
Sadly, for all its grand ambitions 41 Hours doesn’t quite hit the bullseye. In fact, it barely hits the board. Chit Hot delivered a 41 Hours review at its console launch, stating: “41 Hours is a game in which everything is designed to make the player feel unique and powerful, and yet fails to achieve this in everyway imaginable.”
That being said, if you’re still interested in getting your hands on the 41 Hours retail release, it’s available to pre-order now. PlayAsia has the European editions online now. Check out the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 editions, both priced at £19.68 GBP.
These two new 41 Hours retail releases will launch on 24th February, 2023. Have you played 41 Hours? Do you agree with our review? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
