AMATA K.K. has announced that the popular VR game Last Labyrinth is coming to Xbox consoles. Or, at least, a part of it. -Lucidity Lost-, the monitor mode of the VR escape room game, is being adapted for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles. It is also in development for Nintendo Switch.

Last Labyrinth was Amata’s first VR game, and has since been followed by the award-winning The Tale of Onogoro. It’s an escape room adventure game that can only be experienced in VR. Players must work to escape a mansion full of hidden dangers with a mysterious girl that appears before them. The game originally launched in November 2019, and was received very well

In March 2023, Last Labyrinth launched on PlayStation VR2. This new version included Last Labyrinth -Lucidity Lost-, a ‘monitor mode’ that can be played without a VR headset. This element proved popular, and has since been implemented in the PlayStation 4 and Steam versions. Now, Last Labyrinth -Lucidity Lost- is being spun-off into it’s own title for Xbox consoles and Nintendo Switch.
