Dead Island 2 Body Art Guide

After learning about the Autophage zombie parts from Patton in Venice Beach, it’s time to head to Beverly Hills. This Dead Island 2 Body Art Guide will give you a complete walkthrough of the lengthy Side Quest, including all locations and rewards!

Body Art is a series of Side Quests in Dead Island 2 which begins at Francesca’s house in Beverly Hills. To begin, you must have complete the The Giant-Slayer Story Quest.

There are a total of seven parts to the Body Art Side Quest. After completing one part, you won’t be able to start the next until a day has passed in-game.

Body Art: The Visionary Side Quest

Talk to Francesca in the garage of the red house in Beverly Hills. She will ask you to deliver 10 pieces of Infected Flesh. This is the most common Autophage zombie part you will come across in Dead Island 2. Kill any Shamblers, Walkers, or Runners to collect Infected Flesh from their corpses.

Once you have a total of 10 pieces, return to Francesca and deposit the parts in her bucket. Be sure to talk to her before you leave to complete this stage of the Body Art Side Quest . She tells you to return some other time, and look for notices pinned to the bulletin board.

Body Art The Visionary Side Quest Rewards

Body Art: Heft Side Quest

After completing the Body Art: The Visionary Side Quest, return to Francesca for the next stage of the Body Art Side Quest. This time she wants you to collect five Oversized Arm Bones.

Oversized Arm Bones only drop from Crusher Apex Variant zombies. You can obtain Oversized Arm Bones from Crushers in any Hell-A District, but they’re particularly common in Venice Beach.

Deposit five Oversized Arm Bones into the art supplies bucket in Beverly Hills to complete this part of the Side Quest.

Body Art Heft Side Quest Rewards

1,500 XP

Body Art Moist Side Quest

After at least one day in-game time, you can find the next Body Art notice: Chthonic Ichor.

You need to deliver five Chthonic Ichor to Francesca. Her note hints that this Autophage part can be obtained by killing Slobbers. These can easily be found in Brentwood Sewers.

Return a total of five Chthonic Ichor into the art supply bucket to complete this part of the Side Quest.

Body Art Moist Side Quest Rewards

Body Art Uproar Side Quest

Again, you must wait at least one day in-game time for this next part of the Body Art Side Quest to become available. You must collect five Infected Spines, a zombie part only obtained from Screamer Apex Variants. Screamers can commonly be found in Beverly Hills.

Deliver five Infected Spines to complete this next stage of the Body Art Side Quest.

Body Art Uproar Side Quest Rewards

Body Art Vigor Side Quest

You guessed it: wait one day of in-game time to find another notice on Francesca’s bulletin board. Blade Arms are only dropped by Butcher Apex Variants. Butchers can commonly be found on the Santa Monica Pier.

Collect a total of three Blade Arms and deposit them in Francesca’s bucket to complete this stage of the Body Art Side Quest.

Body Art Dread Side Quest

After collecting the Blade Arms for Francesca, return to her house in Beverly Hills after one day of in-game time and on the bulletin board you will find a notice for Mutated Hearts. These only drop from Mutator Apex Variants. If you are having trouble locating these, there are plenty of other Side Quests with Mutators that can help you with this objective.

Deposit three Mutated Hearts complete this part of the Body Art Side Quest..

Body Art Dread Side Quest Rewards

Body Art Unveiling Side Quest

After completing all the previous Body Art Side Quest chapters, Francesca will send you away and tell you to wait. Fast Travel anywhere at the opposite time you are in currently and then return to Beverly Hills the next day.

Francesca will have left her garage. Follow the trail into the backyard and you her. Talk to Francesca to complete the Body Art Side Quest and collect your reward.
