Mortal Kombat 1 Fatalities Guide

Fatalities have been a mainstay of the Mortal Kombat series since day one. All but one (here’s looking at you, Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe) titles have included Fatalities, and as such they are synonymous with the series. Many have tried to imitate, but few have even come close. Mortal Kombat 1 does of course bring Fatalities back to the forefront, and for gamers playing at today’s launch, Chit Hot has prepared a handy guide on how to perform every single Fatality in the game.

Bringing Back the Fight

2023 has been a bumper year for fighting games. King of Fighters XV has gone from strength-to-strength. Street Fighter 6 came to reclaim the throne. And now, Mortal Kombat 1 has launched. It doesn’t get much better than that. Unless, maybe we could ask for more Samuari Shodown? No? Just me, then.

Of course, none of those other titles feature the trademark Fatalities of Mortal Kombat. And so, without further ado, here’s how to perform every Fatality in Mortal Kombat 1.

Below you will find a list of every character’s Fatality. The bracket refers to the distance to your opponent you need to stand when inputting the presses. All the commands are appropriate for the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 editions of the game. The PC and Nintendo Switch editions offer the same Fatalities, though require adapting the final button press.

The main new addition Mortal Kombat 1 brings to the series is that of Kameo fighters. Each Kameo fighter also has a unique Fatality, performed with the below inputs.
