PDP has been making waves with their ‘elite’ controllers of late. The new Midnight Mask Victrix Pro BFG is coming to PlayStation and PC soon. However, Xbox gamers are also in for a Call of Duty (CoD) themed treat. A new CoD controller that glows in the dark.

The Monkey Bomb REMATCH GLOW is a CoD themed wired controller for Xbox Series X|S consoles. Not quite the hefty high-end modularity of the Midnight Mask Victrix Pro BFG, this controller seems pretty basic by comparison. However, the Monkey Bomb REMATCH GLOW is so called due to it’s glow in the dark design.

A unique design most likely attractive to younger gamers, the Monkey Bomb REMATCH GLOW features textured thumbsticks, triggers, and grips. There’s also built-in audio controls and programmable back buttons. Other features include:

  • Dual rumble motors.
  • Impulse triggers.
  • Detachable, 8-ft USB-C cable.

CoD themed Monkey Bomb REMATCH GLOW Controller

Unlike the aforementioned Call of Duty inspired PlayStation controller, the Monkey Bomb REMATCH GLOW cannot switch between wired and wireless modes. It’s built purely for wired play, with the trade-off on price being evident of this. While the Midnight Mask Victrix Pro BFG is set to retail for $199.99 USD, the Monkey Bomb REMATCH GLOW will be priced at just $37.99.

This makes the new CoD inspired Xbox Series X|S controller significantly more affordable than the standard Xbox Series controller. Whether or not the textured inputs and programmable back buttons are adequate compensation for the versatility of a wireless controller will be entirely personal preference. The reduction in price however, surely won’t be.

The Monkey Bomb REMATCH GLOW will still benefit from the PDP Control Hub App. This allows players to configure buttons to fit their play style, run diagnostics, and update the controller’s firmware all in one place. The CoD themed edition will launch on 20th November, 2023.
