Madmind Studios are at it again, with Paranoid: Succubus Neighbor. A newly announced title continuing the saga of sexy demons, Paranoid proposes a rather stalky scenario of spying on your neighbour to determine whether or not she’s a demon. As the trailer ably demonstrates, a sexy naked demon, of course.
In Paranoid: Succubus Neighbor, you play as Patrick Coleman. The 31-year-old protagonist lost his entire family in mysterious circumstances. Now, suffering from Paranoid Schizophrenia, Patrick will have to make a difficult decision. Should he stay home without medication and uncover the dark secret of his neighbor. Or should he buy the medicine and meet his missing sister, who has given a sign of life for the first time in 10 years?
Paranoid: Succubus Neighbor will allow players to determine the course of Patrick’s story. Depending on the choices, the player will either lock themselves in their apartment with their demons or venture into the city, discovering an alternative course of events. The game can be completed in two ways, showing how the simple decision to stay or leave the apartment profoundly affects the protagonist’s fate.

Patrick’s condition has his mind racing all too often. However, from the trailer alone you can tell that, in fact, this one’s true. Who is he neighbor, and why can’t she get her out of his head? Does she exist, and do we want to know the answer?
The gameplay trailer showcases a lot of sneaky action. Or, more accurately, voyeurism. It’s all a bit creepy, but with Madmind Studios at the helm, that was almost certainly the intent. The studio is responsible for many adult endeavours, including Agony and Succubus: Hellish VR Orgy. No prizes for guessing what that latter title is about. The studio had promised to reveal new IPs earlier this year, suggesting Paranoid is the first of many.
In addition to the creepy spying, there’s going to be combat using both ranged and melee weapons, and logic puzzles.
Just Because You’re Paranoid, Doesn’t Mean They’re not After You
Paranoid: Succubus Neighbor is set for release on 15th December, 2023. The game will launch on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. There’s no word on a VR edition as of yet, however Madmind Studios are keen on the technology, so there may be compatibility offered down the line.
