SOEDESCO’s original Dollhouse is almost five years old, so it’s almost time for a sequel. In collaboration with developers Grindstone and Indigo Studio, Dollhouse: Behind The Broken Mirror has been confirmed for a PC and console release later this year.

Dollhouse was a film noir horror story where players delved into the mind of a detective called Marie. For this year’s sequel players enter the broken mind of Eliza de Moor, a once-celebrated singer. She is trapped in the labyrinth of her own forgotten memories, her only hope lying with Doctor Stern and his experimental medicine.

Stepping into the mind of Eliza, players have to navigate the reality and the world behind the broken mirror, guided by the effects of the drug. Dollhouse: Behind The Broken Mirror will serve as a prequel to the original narrative.

Dollhouse: Behind The Broken Mirror

In this dark and twisted action adventure, players need to piece together the mystery of Eliza’s past, hopefully without getting lost in this nightmarish reality. They’ll have to explore two realities, journeying to the remains of Eliza’s childhood home in Ravenhill, the Dollhouse Mansion.

As you’d expect, the mansion is filled with sinister dolls, each representing a hidden memory of Eliza. Choose whether to tackle these foes head-on in combat or use stealth to evade them and obtain Eliza’s memory fragments.

Features revealed so far include:

  • Follow a thrilling narrative with captivating details sprinkled in each area
  • Fight off or evade hordes of horrific dolls watching your every move
  • Solve exciting puzzles, bringing you one step closer to uncovering the mystery
  • Experience a chilling atmosphere with haunting music and stunning vintage noir visuals

Dollhouse: Behind The Broken Mirror is slated for release on PlayStation, Xbox and PC in 2024. No precise launch window has been given.
