Koei Tecmo Europe have announced the launch of a Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires demo. Available now, it is free to download on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires adds strategic war elements to the 1 vs. 1,000 action of Omega Force’s revered Dynasty Warriors series. Publisher Koei Tecmo Europe has previously announced that fans of the Dynasty Warriors series will be able to get their hands on a special Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires 20th Anniversary Box version. This will be available exclusively through the Koei Tecmo Europe Online Store. This special edition contains:
- A 20th anniversary character artbook
- A pack of 94 character cards with a display stand
- The game’s soundtrack, and a copy of the game
- Special packaging – a Dynasty Warriors themed collector’s box
Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires Demo
The Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires demo features new castle sieges, including both invasion battles and defence. Players will storm the enemy castle, or fight to defend your fortress in this challenging tutorial.
Virtual warlords can play through each siege scenario repeatedly. Doing so will lead them to discover the best strategies to overpower and outthink opponents. In addition, fans will be able to experience the game’s edit mode. They will be able to create their own officers before taking them into battle. These newly created characters can then be transferred from the demo version to the full game, as long as you are playing the same platform on both the demo and final product.
Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires is currently in development and will release across Europe on 15th February 2022. The game is be available for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PC via Steam, Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, and digitally on PlayStation 5. By purchasing the digital or physical PlayStation 4 versions of the game you can receive an upgrade to the digital PlayStation 5 version at no additional cost.
