Saber Interactive and 34BigThings have released the Redout 2 Winter Pack DLC. Available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, the DLC is also coming soon to Nintendo Switch.
A highly anticipated sequel, the Redout 2 release date was met with a keen reception. At launch, the game featured 36 tracks to race on. A number which has been increased by DLC packs on all formats.
Redout 2 Winter Pack
The new Redout 2 Winter Pack DLC brings racers to the glacial plains and lava-stricken canyons of Mercury. This results in high-speed action with some seriously dramatic temperature shifts. The brand-new Terror Rupes environment includes four original tracks – three base courses and a boss track – all of which are reversible. What’s more, everyone is welcome to race on these new tracks in multiplayer!
In multiplayer lobbies, only the host needs to own the Redout 2 Winter Pack DLC to make the new tracks available for everyone.
There are also 28 new career events, 29 bonus items such as liveries, colors, and cosmetics, and new music by Dance With the Dead.
The fast-paced anti-gravity racer’s second premium DLC is free today for Season Pass owners, or available as a standalone purchase for $9.99 USD/£8.99 GBP/€9.99 EUR.
Redout 2 Free DLC
Redout 2 also has a free update available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation4, Xbox One and PC today. This introduces Training Mode, a new practice feature that allows players to race an unlimited amount of laps on any course to test their skills.
The patch will be available on Nintendo Switch at a later date. For the full list of patch notes, visit: https://support.saber.games/hc/en-us/articles/12097792451473.
