Saints Row fans have got plenty to look forward to in 2023. Deep Silver and Volition have just unveiled a new content roadmap for Expansion Pass holders. But, there will also be a selection of free updates to the game, from cosmetic features to quality-of-life enhancements.
Saints Row 2023 Roadmap
April
The content rollout starts next month with a free cosmetic pack themed on Dead Island 2. Arriving on 11th April, you can dress your boss with kits from antihero Jacob or quick-witted Amy. Additionally, there’s a new weapon, a new emote, and for that beachside feel a pink flamingo hat and Carver the Shark statue for your HQ.
May
Two batches of content in May, one free and the other for Expansion Pass holders. The freebies include new district Sunshine Springs, a selfie mode to capture all those important moments and a combat overhaul. Expansion Pass holders get three new story missions called The Heist & The Hazardous. Set in Sunshine Springs as the Saints take on an ambitious heist as payback for being double-crossed.
July
A couple of months later, July will see the next double content drop. Expansion Pass content features Doc Ketchum’s Murder Circus, a new solo game mode for players to clown around in. As for the free stuff, the developer has merely stated it’ll be a “quality of life upgrade” with “new features being added”.
August
Lastly, August will see a sizable amount of new stuff arriving. Those looking for more free content will enjoy a new district, gameplay features and QoL improvements – all yet to be revealed. On the Expansion Pass front, this is going to be the biggest of the three. New campaign story missions, new enemies, cosmetics and more.
