This year sees Star Trek: The Next Generation celebrate its 35th anniversary. As part of the festivities, NERF is bringing out a special blaster set featuring two iconic weapons from the series. The NERF LMTD Star Trek Blaster is now in stock at Amazon.
Just like Star Wars, Aliens and other IPs NERF has collaborated with, the new Star Trek NERF phaser blasters are the perfect homage to the iconic show. Comprising a Starfleet Type 3 Phaser rifle and a Type 2 blaster (which isn’t sold separately) they are motorised and manual respectively. The Type 3 blaster takes its design inspiration from the 1996 film Star Trek: First Contact, where Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) is assimilated by the Borg.
