It was only three months ago that Games Workshop unveiled a new collection of miniatures called the Regiments of Renown. These are mercenary units that can be used with any other Grand Alliance army other than its “home” faction. Now four new Warhammer Regiments of Renown have been announced, to further augment your armies.

The Regiments of Renown are unique for two reasons. Firstly, as mentioned, each can’t be used to bolster its own Grand Alliance army. For example, Veremord’s Shamblers can join any DEATH armies but not the Soulblight Gravelords. Secondly, they can be added even if they break the allied points threshold!

Warhammer Regiments of Renown Collection

The four new Regiments of Renown are comprised of Fjori’s Flamebearers, Phlugoth’s Shudderhood, Jerrion’s Delegation and Braggit’s Bottle-snatchaz.

Fjori’s Flamebearers are led by the Grimehold Exhile Fjori. Alongside Fjori fight 10 Vulkite Berzerkers, five Hearthguard Berzerkers, and five Auric Hearthguard.

The diseased band of Phlugoth’s Shudderhood is led by the eponymous Harbinger of Decay. The rest of the warrior regiment consists of five Putrid Blightkings and a pair of Pusgoyle Blightlords

As for the DEATH armies and the flesh-eater courts you got Jerrion’s Delegation. Under the command of Marrowscroll Herald Jerrion, he is accompanied by 20 slavering Crypt Ghouls, three soaring bat-winged Crypt Flayers, and three repugnant Crypt Horrors.

Finally, there is Braggit’s Bottle-snatchaz. A mob of squigs and gitz, Braggit, a Rabble-Rowza with an enchanted skull controls this crew. They’re made up of 10 bouncing Squig Hoppers, a Squig Herd containing two Squig Herders and 10 Squigs, and a gathering of five grots known as the Gobbapalooza.

These new Warhammer Regiments of Renown will be available to pre-order soon. Which will you be adding to your armies, or did you buy any of the previous sets? Let us know in the comments below.
