The hype train for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth shows no signs of slowing. Original rumoured for a January launch, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth now has an official release date set for 29th February, 2024. But Square Enix show no signs of slowing their pre-launch campaign, revealing a bunch of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth facts.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the second installment in the Final Fantasy VII remake project. Following Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth sees our heroes embarking on a quest to hunt down Sephiroth. Having escaped Midgar, players will now explore an expansive world with their team of heroes.
Cloud, Aerith, Barret and Tifa join forces with new playable companions. Yuffie, a member of Wutai’s elite corps of ninja operatives, Red XIII, a beast with a flaming tail, and Cait Sith, a wisecracking, feline-shaped robot. Together, they will hunt down Sephiroth, the one-winged angel bent on ruling the planet.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Facts
As this stage, there’s not much which isn’t known about the game. We have the release date. It’s been revealed that Sephiroth himself will be playable at some point. And we know that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a standalone release which won’t carry saves over from Final Fantasy VII Remake.
