If you’re just starting out with Palworld, Cattiva is a great option for a Pal to help with mining. This Pal can engage in several related activities, such as hauling, construction, and of course mining, all by itself. Though Cattiva may not be the best Pal for using Stone Pits, it’s ability to cover many activities put it to the top of the pile early in the game.

Best Pal for Mining in Late Game

Once you’ve made some progress in Palworld, the demands on your resources and mining grow significantly. Sadly, that Cattiva you’ve spent many hours caring for a levelling-up simply doesn’t cut it any more. Instead, you now have two good options available depending on just how far you’ve made it.

Astegon is an obvious choice thanks to its level 4 mining skill. It can perform basic building tasks, but that’s not what its being used for here. Position your Astegon near Stone Pits and Mineral Nodes for maximum efficiency.

However, if you’re still looking for a bit of an all-rounder, Anubis is also a good choice. With level 3 mining and level 2 transportation, Anubis is not only able to extract Ore and Paladium Fragments, but also transport them to the appropriate storage facilities.
