Whatever your immediate goals in Palworld are, here’s Chit Hot’s guide to the best base locations in each region. The below are listed in alphabetical order, by region.
Bamboo Groves Base Location
Bamboo Groves is a hilly area covered in bamboo shoots, located in the central island of Palworld. It is home to many different types of Pals. The Dungeons in Bamboo Groves are typically around level 19, so this is a good place to try out early in the game. You can find Dungeons in Bamboo Groves at these coordinates: -111, -420; -148, -179; -149, -344; -160, -437; -217, -473; -226, -418; -276, -172; -286, -292.
What’s more, this area has a huge amount of flat space. This make Bamboo Groves suitable for a Breeding Ranch. It’s also one of the best areas for mining Ore, as there are many deposits throughout the area.
Land of Absolute Zero Base Location
For late game players, you’re going to need regular access to Pure Quartz. The Land of Absolute Zero in the Astral Mountains has plenty readily available. It’s a relatively large area that can easily be made secure from raiding, thanks to the surrounding mountains. However, you’ll going to need to wrap up warm and build plenty of Camp Fires!
The closest teleport statue to the Land of Absolute Zero is at -357, 508.

Marsh Island Base Location
Marsh Island has quickly become a popular location in Palworld for farming chests. The region has a fast travel point nearby at 431, -345.
It’s also a great location for mining Ore. When you’ve reached the point of being able top construct an Ore Farm, this is where you want to be building. There are many Ore deposits next to an open area which can be filled with your many other essential buildings, and can be easy to defend against incoming raids thanks to having two different levels. Build your defensive structure at the bottom and vital components at the top.
Twilight Dunes Base Location
Twilight Dunes has quickly become famous in Palworld for being the only location for Alpha Anubis, which can be found walking around a Statue of Power. However, there’s more to this location than simply catching one of the most popular Pals in the game.
You’ll likely reach Twilight Dunes relatively early in the game, and it’s a great location to gather both Coal and Ore. Building a base in this location will also give you easy access to Sulfur, another vital ingredient for progress in Palworld. And don’t forget about that Alpha Anubis…
