The lovable blue-skinned, white-hatted Smurfs are set to return to our videogame screens once again this year. Last saw the likes of Mario Kart clone Smurfs Kart race onto consoles. Soon we’ll see Mario Party clone The Smurfs – Village Party provide some family entertainment.
Developed by Balio Studio and published by Microids, The Smurfs – Village Party will serve up a mini-game-filled world. Papa Smurf is hosting an awesome party, with 50 mini-games available in the “party game mode.” But where the Smurfs go so does Gargamel, who has heard about the party and will do everything he can to spoil it.
The Party Mode will comprise 19 famous Smurf faces to play as. There will also be 30+ outfits to customise each Smurf. Between 2-4 players can compete in a range of games, such as sport, quickness, luck, memory, battle and accuracy.
It’s time to party, Smurfs style!
In addition to the Part Game Mode, The Smurfs – Village Party will also feature an adventure mode. Dropping players into an original tale set in The Smurfs village, players will have 10 different regions to explore. These will include Enchanted Forest, Snowy Mountains, and Gargamel’s Territory. They’ll be filled with both quests and over 100 iconic Smurfs!
The Smurfs – Village Party will be available from 6th June 2024 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Whilst you wait, check out The Smurfs gaming history when The Smurfs turned 65 years-old in 2023.
