Publisher Merge Games and development studio Half Past Yellow have to revealed that the sandbox puzzle adventure game, Time on Frog Island will be available as a physical retail release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, as well as digitally for all platforms including PC via Steam, this summer. Time on Frog Island garnered a lot of attention under it’s previous name, Trading Time: A Croak Tale.
In Time on Frog Island, a sailor is shipwrecked on a strange island after a terrible storm and he awakes to find his boat in ruins. Clutching his precious potted plant, the sea dog goes about trying to fix his boat and find his way home. However, the peculiar frog-like locals don’t speak his language. And they aren’t about to give up the items he needs without something in exchange.
Players must engage in a spaghetti network of trades to get what they need. This will take them all over this strange island as they seek out the materials to fix their boat.

The game is designed to be explored at your own pace. The island is designed to be a sandbox, with new surprises at every turn. Players can discover new items by fishing, farming and creating potions that will change how you traverse the island. Players can also learn new skills from the locals, in exchange for favours, of course!
