Gearbox Software is today offering Borderlands fans their first look at Tales from the Borderlands gameplay. A new video showcases in-game action, combat and much more! Nearly 20 minutes of footage is taken directly from the upcoming game.
With this video fans can familiarise themselves yourself with Tales from the Borderlands‘ playable characters Anu, Octavio, and Fran. Our three lovable losers must travel through the sewers of Promethea, racing against Tediore to open a dormant Vault. As they figure out a way past the Tediore guards, they must also battle for honor and glory in a Vaultlanders duel, with QTEs deciding the winner of glorious plastic combat.
And as usual in the Borderlands universe, all hell breaks loose when they find the Vault.
Tales from the Borderlands Gameplay Trailer
New Tales from the Borderlands will present a five-part story, collected on a single retail disc. Across the series, players will meet other Vault Hunters, psychos, and weapons-corp CEOs. The Borderlands are also full of downtrodden, intrepid civilians just trying to get by.
Following in the tradition set by the original Tales from the Borderlands, the decisions you make determine how your story ends. Often in unexpected ways. Whether it’s Anu’s vision of a universe that markets more than weapons, Octavio’s dreams of fame and fortune, or Fran’s frosty plot for revenge, their success or failure depends on you.
